For those in the West frozen in their enthusiasms of 45 years ago the enemy remains the perception of power as it was. There is no objection to a cult of youth and energy and power to come. How that power should be used is simply not considered. Since we are going to all die anyway, and it is so unfair, why not smash up the furniture for fun on the way out?
