My Rolex was purchased about 1985 in the China Fleet Club, Hong Kong. The bar there was enlisted only but the duty free shop deigned to allow an officer in. The way to verify that your Rolex is for real is to bring it in to them for servicing. If they clean and adjust your watch then you are assured it is the genuine item. If they return with a tray full of loose parts then you were caught trying to palm off the watch you bought on the street in Pusan.
