Only BHO is no Ransom Stoddard. Not only did he not shoot Liberty Valance but he has been busy emptying Tom Doniphon's gun and laughing at Liberty's jokes. As I read this play Chavez is close to being Valance, the NYT will argue that was Bush's role but I had him pegged as being closer to Ranse with Cheney as his Tom.
